K1 JRS 30mm with USA connector special composite shaft, heavy-duty JRS material

This shaft is produced from high strength JRS material whose rigidity is similar to a glass material but its strength before the breakage can be almost compared with carbon.

This shaft is softer but very durable. At the hit to the barrier it absorbs shocks and thanks to this property it saves muscles and joints of the  arms. Naturally it also saves the paddle blades.

It is suitable for extreme white water or rodeo. The shaft colour is black.

The USA connector is a carbon coupling kit with an aluminum clamp.  This handy piece of kit is used to quickly connect or disconnect the two halves of the kayak paddle. Not only can you split the paddle in half which is super handy for travelling, but you can also alter the length and feather of the paddle.  The USA connector gives up to 10cm adjustment in length, which is marked clearly on the carbon tube.  The feather/angle  scale is marked in 5 degree increments.  The USA connector is particularly suited to expedition paddles to allow for splitting and  handy storage, test or club paddles (where several people will share a paddle)  as well as being perfect for growing teenagers. To ensure longevity of this piece of kit, it is important to handle the aluminium clamp with care.
